A few blocks off the capital and walking distance from whatever you might need. Parking is on site and runs $12/night. If they are less busy you might be able to get them to waive that charge. From here you can make either a short walk or jump an uber to any of the downtown attractions. I've stayed here a couple of times for Great Taste of the Midwest for the tap takeover and appreciated the location.
Inside the hotel is clean and modern. There's a big lower bar area for gathering. My room last time was near the elevator, but I didn't hear it. The staff has always been friendly and accommodating with one of them remembering me from my last visit which was a surprise.
overall I'd stay here again in the area.
