In my opinion, the pool area is pretty small to accommodate such a major resort. Heck, even the pool area at Luxor seemed bigger! Boyfriend and I took a mini staycation and stayed at the Cosmopolitan for Labor Day weekend. We came down on Sunday around 11:30am ish and there were hardly any chairs left. (We did eventually find two chairs together about 10 minutes later. We got lucky since I scoped out two females leaving. You really gotta keep an eye open.) Before you tell me, "you snooze, you lose"....let me say this: I really don't think it's fair for people to "reserve" chairs while they wander off for 2+ hours. It should really be first come, first serve....with your PHYSICAL BODY laying in that chair. I understand if you were going to reserve chairs while you go back upstairs to get something...go grab your to-go food order or have a friend join you within the next hour or so. But none of this "I'm going to put my shirt + towel on this chair at 8am and not return until after lunch." Even worse....inconsiderate a$$holes who don't even bother to pick up their own towels when they leave. They just leave it on the chair causing confusion for future guests. Pick up after yourselves!!!!!
There are two pools here....one big one that's considered their main pool and a smaller one. Their main pool is about 4 feet at its deepest and the smaller squared one is maybe around 3.4 ft at its deepest. There's also a small hot tub. The food was okay. I've had better pool food elsewhere (Drais and Daylight comes to mind.) $12 for chips and guac. The Boulevard Pool is located closest to the East Tower.
