We had the company Christmas party here a year or two ago. I had made sure everything we needed was in the contract, but most importantly, the exemptions were spelled out (namely the liquor...) Throughout the party, I was reminding servers what was next. They forgot one appetizer until I brought it to their attention (and showed them a copy of the contract I had). The food was almost mediocre. That's one of the memories the staff still has: being surprised at how bad the food was. When I received the bill, the wait staff had been completely inattentive to the restrictions, allowing staff members to order a number of ports. "Nobody" could help me that night, so I waited until the following week to get the issues addressed with the WM booking agent. In her exact words: "You're lucky we kept to any part of the contract at all." What?!? I repeated it back and she said Yup. They do their best, but they don't have to honor the contract at all, and since she had our card number (for the down payment to reserve the space), there was nothing we could do. I will NEVER go back. Not as a company, and not me personally.
