Got to try these face painters/make-up artists at the MIM recently. Wow! They are very good and they do specialty designs based on the event theme. We were at a "French Experience"event at the Musical Instrument Museum . . . French colors, flags and music references were all incorporated into the face painting themes of the day. But if you wanted butterflies, superheros, princesses, lions, tigers or bears, they can do it. Just ask. My friends had clear messages of FRANCE, symbolizing the wonderful day of French music at the MIM, painted on their faces. Me? I opted for a Hawaiin Hibiscus design! Why? Well, it was just too cool an option to pass up. I considered the Spiderman option, or maybe the cobra? But, I am too much of a girly-girl and the colorful hibiscus was calling my name/cheek. Next time I am going for the cobra. Break out of my shell!
