I found out about this place on Facebook. Do I wish I would have not! In the beginning the owner Maria was really nice! She told me hoe experienced she was and how great. Basically the whole time I was there she would tell me how great she was. I was there with my two kids and I have to say she was good about that. My daughter watched TV and i nursed my son. The restroom was not working so I had to walk with color in my hair to the next grocery store.
I told her I wanted my hair long, I had grown my hair for a couple years ( yes, I had gotten cuts during that time and color). I told her about my natural curls and my thyroid issues. I wanted to make sure she understood what I wanted. I wanted to get rid of my roots and showed he a picture of a hair cut I had gotten which I loved. She said it was no problem. So I believed her and allowed her to do her work. Boy, do I wish I had not!
Her color job she did with her fingers and she was on the phone several times doing that. She got color into my eye and that burned like crazy! When I was done I looked nothing near what I had showed her. I was overwhelmed and sad. I payed and left (I wish I had complained and not paid full price). I thought maybe I need a day to see that she did a good job. Next day I texted her. My hair was way to short, I still had my roots and I was very unhappy. I texted her and let her know. I told her how thankful I was that she helped with the kids but that I didn´t like what she did. She send me a link to rate her and I told her that I was to nice to do that after what she did to my hair. In the beginning she wanted to post a before and after picture of my hair job. Well, she didn´t. I think cause she knew that she had messed up big time.
My husband contacted her and she threatened him that she would call the police if we would give her a bad rating! WOW I am wondering if the Facebook ratings are real! After her and my husband hang up her husband called and they talked about giving half of the money back. Her husband wanted to talk to her and call back. Guess what, never happened. My husband called her again and she told him, that she was done with us. She send me a friend request on Facebook and I kindly asked her why I would add her after how she messed up my hair and treated us. Guess what, she blocked me in a heartbeat. Maybe she was afraid of me writing a bad review.
Think twice before going here! I can provide messages between her and I as well as before and after pictures!
I ended up going to a different hair salon and surprise, they did an awesome job and I don´t have any more roots.
Why am I writing this? To save other people time and money!
