I don't get the hype. The Ella coffee is unique, and good. Maple syrup with your double shot capp?! Count me in! Reasonably priced too - bonus! But, the disappointment...the walnut banana bread. My mom makes the world's best walnut banana bread, and when Adeel told me Ella makes a fine banana bread, I took him up on the challenge. It was not even close to my mama's. If I am in the area, I will go for the Ella coffee again, for sure. But, if I had my choice of coffee spots in Toronto - Merchants of Green Coffee, Riverdale Perk, or Voulez Vous are my favs at the moment.
