This is the second reflexology massage place I have been to, the latter having way too chatty employees and lack of staff. It truly made me appreciate the service that Magnolia offers.
My boyfriend and I come here together and we get a private room. One of the four times we came we had to wait, which is great because we never schedule appointments ahead of time. We like to go together and it always ends up being spur of the moment. One hour massage is $29 and hard to beat. I go to massage envy monthly to really work out my knots, but Magnolia is great for relieving the stress of a busy work week.
I feel like poor reviews at any reflexology establishment are due to lack of knowledge of what to expect. My boyfriend has been previously so I lucked out.
What to expect:
*This is not just a foot massage, but one from head to toe.
*Wear shorts and a loose fitting tank top (you will start face up and flip over towards the end. The loose tank makes it so you don't have to awkwardly take your shirt off. My boyfriend takes his off at the beginning, but as a female I feel different )
*Your feet soak in warm water for about half of the time
*Lotion is used, not oil
*Hot rocks are used
*This is not a high end spa, you get what you pay for
I deducted one star because the girls can be a little chatty at times. They do whisper, but I have no clue what they are talking about and care not to listen to it
