Early check in? Pfft... I called at 1 pm to see if an early check in is possible and this is how the conversation with Darby went: Me: Do you have any rooms available for an early check in? Darby: *long sigh* We don't Me: Is it possible for you to check again? Darby: (with an attitude) I already checked with housekeeping Me: Ok, have a good day...See you at 3 Darby: Disconnects call Fast forward to the hotel arrival Waiting in a line, of at minimum, 15 people checking. The lobby felt like the AC was broken and there were 2 chairs in the lobby to accommodate their guests. As we got closer to the desk, there was a couple who expressed their dissatisfaction in the check in process. The front desk agent, Shauna, was unable to find the reservation, adding further fuel to the fire. Shauna told the couple, "I'm sorry-what do you want me to do about it?" with a smirk and light laugh Shauna went on to say that the housekeeping staff doesn't arrive until 2:00 (Check out is 11am...What is done between 11 and 3 to prepare for the 3pm check-ins? (Remember earlier, Darby told me over the phone that she spoke with housekeeping- LIES) The room is clean; however, the customer service sucks!
