My family and I lived here for a year and we would still live there if we hadn't gotten transferred out of state. Renee is an incredible manager and Juan, the maintenance man, is kind and capable. We had a family of four living in our apartment and never had any plumbing issues whatsoever, so I believe those bad reviews to be outdated and inaccurate. We had incredible neighbors and had a real sense of community despite being in the middle of the city. On Christmas we barbecued and enjoyed the Arizona weather on our patio while another resident walked down the rows of apartments serenading everyone with Christmas music on his saxophone (I could not make this up, ha!). The pool was almost always empty and the landscaping was always impeccable. Our only complaint was with the amount of dog poop in the flower beds--and honestly that is the responsibility of the tenants, not Partenza. The neighborhood couldn't be cooler; a nice walk to Whole Foods, Trader Joe's and almost all of our favorite midtown restaurants. It's a $5 Uber ride away from just about everything in the city (including downtown) and walking distance to the light rail. If you're looking for a clean, affordable apartment in Phoenix, definitely consider Partenza on Highland!
