I swam competitively from the age of 10 to 12th grade. With that being said I am accustomed to the loudness of the pool area, especially an indoor pool where a lot of activities are taking place. That is normal. I am also used to crowded showers after lessons and random strands of hair on the ground. That's part of a public pool. Although it's a private swim school, it's still public. So with that, it would be nice if they did have a noticeable clean up crew coming through during high traffic times to make sure the bathrooms (toilet stalls) are clean and dry seating area. The parent viewing area could use a wash down too. It is difficult because everything is constantly wet and they have a million kids coming through every half hour. I think the front desk staff is really nice. They are busy, swamped and yet they still ae able to answer my questions and schedule our lessons. So the pool is a bit cloudy when we come in the aftenoon. It seems better when we come at 4 than at 6pm. I know if there is too much chlorine and treatment it will effect swimmers eyes, skin, and that would make lessons terrible. So I am not sure what they can do about that. The reason we stay is for the teachers. Every experience we have had with the teachers have been fantastic. They know my son by name..say goodbye to him when we are walking out. Give me tips on how to help them at home. They smile, are nice, and seem to enjoy swimming lessons. Be prepared they are going to encourage and let your child swim on their own. Even on the first day. They won't be babied and they will splash them and really do things to ensure they aren't afraid of the water. As a swimmer and a mom of a two year old I like that. That didn't scare me nor did it scare my son. I really like all the staff we have interacted with and my son is happy to go swimming each time. Four stars because they could clean up the place a bit. But otherwise a good place for us.
