I was living temporarily near this gym and signed up only for 2 (TWO) months. I was very clear that I didn't want to be on a contract and only required a 2 month membership. I spoke to the manager and prepaid for 2 months with my debit card. I DID NOT sign a contact. After the two months expired and I moved to the other end of town I started getting harassing phones calls and emails daily from LA Fitness demanding payment to bring my account up to date. I spoke to at least 6 different people who assured me that they would update my account and I would no longer be contacted. A month and a half later the phone calls and emails continue. This is crazy! I just filed a complaint with BBB and my next call is to my lawyer.
