Smack dab in the middle of downtown with direct access to fremont street. I came here on a work visit one time. Stayed in the Rush tower and was pretty impressed. Room was very nice, modern, and updated. The pool was awesome with a Shark Tank and a water slide that goes through the shark tank. Fremont street is awesome with the ziplining, awesome lit up ceiling, street performers, and a number of live band stages. The clientele is less 'douchy' and its generally cheaper than the strip. So with that great experience, I bring the family. This time we stay in the Carson tower. NIGHT AND DAY difference than the Rush tower. Old and outdated. Popcorn ceiling. Wood framing around the curtains. Dingy carpet. Just very dated. Much different feel. Everything else was the same though. Kids LOVED the pool as expected. Basically, don't spend too much time in the carson tower and everything is good! Either that or lower your room standards to, say, 1985.
