I have been to Broadmoor several times. I am a diligent customer, coming every 2 weeks for a gel manicure. It is located close to home and convenient, and most of the time I was pleased with the service offered. But, today was probably my last time visiting this nail salon. Along with my gel manicure taking over an hour and a half from start to finish (I've never experienced a manicure anywhere that took over an hour), I walked out extremely displeased with what my nails looked like. After my previous gel polish was removed, I sat and waited for a nail tech for what seemed like forever. Probably 40 minutes. I understand that they were pretty busy, so that alone would not be a deal breaker for me. Once he sat down, it was like he only cared about getting me out through their revolving door so he could bring in the next paying customer. The job was rushed, extremely sloppy, and truly disappointing. The gel polish is all over my cuticles, looks uneven, and once I left I even peeled polish off of my fingers.... it was everywhere! Worst of all, there are little bubbles/bumps coming up from under the polish. I have never had this happen before in my YEARS of gel manicures, so I assume it is due to the rushed and sloppy nature of my nail tech. Definitely not worth the $45 I left there today :( If you do go here, schedule an appointment with Jimmy. He is the reason I started going to Broadmoor in the first place (I followed him here from another salon). He is amazing, but ALWAYS booked up and I have never been able to get an appointment with him here.
