The Cathedral of Learning is great and all, but I think the events going on in the world have definitely put a damper on the "wow factor" of this place. I know it is a school and students actually are studying in the building, but you can't register it as a landmark and then lock all the doors, preventing anyone from actually getting to enjoy the classrooms. I understand that it is needed to lock down the overlooks on the top floors, but why the classrooms on the first floor that are designed by different cultures? The Cathedral of Learning wasn't like this in the past.
