Lost Creek - Children's Discovery Trail is easy to moderate. It's also a short hike with seasonal waterfall. The trail at the beginning is easy and as you progress you'll need to step over some boulders, go up some stairs and keep your eye out for and wet ground and rocks so you don't slip. My dog was able to do this trail with no problem and I noticed plenty of other dogs on the trail as well. Along the way you can see pictographs, a nice variety of plants and of course you just might catch the waterfall with the best chance being after it's rained. There is shade at times, but you will also be in direct sunlight, so having sunscreen and naturally the appropriate amount of water is essential. This is a great trail for all ages, I noticed plenty of kids on the trail.
