Came here a few months ago for waxing, not sure why I didn't write this review sooner. I really wanted to love this place. When you walk in, the reception/mani-pedi area is clean and beautiful, and the staff are so friendly.
When I entered the waxing room, the floor was covered in wax - not a good sign. I'm not a wax virgin by any means but this was by far the most painful waxing experience I've ever had. My aesthetician must have been brand new because she ripped off chunks of skin along with the hair. I can't imagine someone so inept would be able to work at a reputable waxing salon like the Ten Spot. But if someone is so inexperienced that they're literally ripping customers' skin off, they clearly aren't ready to be working with people. Hopefully she's improved since then.
Very disappointing (and painful) experience, especially after hearing so many good things about this place. I don't think I'd go back.
