You're paying for convenience, I guess. Don't be fooled , though, convenience is kind of pricey especially when it comes with poor customer service. About 6 weeks after I was here I received a certified letter stating that they didn't scan my paperwork. Having to return and then sit in the waiting area for 45 min while they tried to find my paperwork - not convenient. Also there's no privacy at the front desk and they yell at you from across the room and shout out how much you owe. Definitely no professionalism. Perhaps if they were friendly, the extra fee would be worth it. I received the same level of service that I normally get at the regular DMV. Honestly, I'm not sure the "convenience" is worth it.
