READ THIS because I don't want you to deal with the billing issues that I have: So I'm going to definitely agree with some of the other posts on the poor customer service and glorified "hype" with the office. The associates at the front and in billing seem to be completely clueless on procedure and protocol. I work in Customer Service so it's pretty easy to spot this-- especially when you call THREE times before you make the appointment to confirm the below concerns: A. Do you take my insurance B. This is an annual wellness visit, will it be 100% covered They answered yes to both (multiple times) so I proceeded with the appointment. It was the typical appointment, nothing special. However, the room is VERY uninviting and not warm at all. That's definitely something that can be improved. Anyway, I get a $300+ bill in the mail which, obviously enraged me because they told me it was fully covered. The girl in billing was rude and clearly not knowledgeable as she blamed Dr. Glassman and said "whatever happens when you go back to the room we can't control." I told her I had the typical procedure and pap done and she basically said she wasn't sure why I was billed.... ..... ........ Dr. Glassman didn't tell me anything I was having done would be of charge to me or wasn't covered. Nor did he ask me if it was OK if he did end up doing a lab that wasn't part of the annual wellness visit. I told Billing to wipe the charges since it was their office that made this mistake and don't have their act together and she said she would take care of it, but I'm still getting bills that threaten pre-collection warning. I don't have time for this, especially when I go out of my way to call prior and confirm this type of thing WOULDN'T happen. With all the reviews that talk about Dr. G being proud of his office and going out of his way to take care of patients who feel "wronged" I hope to hear back. Otherwise, don't waste your time responding to this review with an excuse, apology or explanation. Save it.
