Just when you think you've found the place to recommend to all your family and friends.... just when you think you've found THE dealership to help answer all your questions.... LIES, LIES, and more EXPENSIVE LIES. My husband and I visited the dealership for the great rebates they were offering for Labor Day weekend. We desperately wanted to get rid of a motorcycle and car. We knew we were upside down on both and that it would effect the overall purchase of a new truck. But we REALLY needed to downsize our month vehicle loans. This dealership was able to offer us reasonable buyouts for our car and bike. The sales guy gave us this whole speech on how the dealership worked & why we should buy from them. It really was a great rehearsed speech. Really all I wanted was to buy my truck and get out of there. Anyway, my husband & I agreed to the terms our sales guys offered. We then proceeded to wait about an hour for the contract to be written up as these things normally drag on forever. I actually didn't have an issue with that, sure I've bought other vehicles where the process was literally under an hour. But each dealership has their own expectations of what a reasonable time is to have someone wait around My husband and I left that dealership thinking we had gotten a great deal. We were happy with everything and we're even happier when the loan guys called to tell us he got us a better deal.... or so we thought. We met with a different loan guy who explained that they were actually UNABLE to uphold the original purchase contract. They hit us us the fact that the RATE AND MONTHLY PAYMENT INCREASED. I flat out asked the loan guy if we flat out had no choice but to sign the new contract. He said confirmed that the Bank made the final decision and that the bank didn't always approve the loan term they offered me. I left the dealership feeling hopeless. Not angry or betrayed. I felt like I trusted them to do the right thing. But I guess that's their way of conducting business.... reel them in and then let them sink.
