I had a few good experiences here...until my last visit. My hubby and I had just gotten back from a trip to IL with the kiddos....In other words, long week, long flight, in need of a seriously relaxing mani/pedi for both of us! We started our pedicures at 12:40, and my hubby was done before I was (the guy didn't even ask about a buff or polish-which hubby usually gets). The guy then puts a pillow in my husbands lap, puts on a battery pack and sands down the tops of my husbands nails (which chewed up his cuticles, leaving them bleeding). Again didn't offer a polish or buff, and handed him his shoes even though there were plenty of seats open (my hubby felt like he needed to get up and wait in the reception/area.
I didn't realize any of this until my girl finished my pedi (without a massage, just lathered on some lotion and oil). I then sat down to get my gel mani done at her station, and noticed my hubby biting his nails. I asked him why, and he showed me that his nails were rough and uneven, and his cuticles were raw. He had to leave to pick up the kiddos from school and asked me not to make a fuss, but he was really unhappy and rarely do we get the chance for a relaxing date! After I had my mani finished (mind you were started at 12:40 and I wasn't done until 3:30!), I let my manicurist know that my husbands service was terrible. She called the guy over (he was relaxing and getting a massage on one of the empty chairs), and told him. He then said okay, you just pay $10. I was so frustrated by the time I left! After I got home, I realized I had a hair embedded in my gel polish....I'm not one for posting bad reviews, but we were really dissatisfied! Go here at your own risk. I've had a few good visits, but won't be back!
