I took my leather skirt to this location to be altered. I was asked to pay a $20 deposit and I would receive a phone call from the owner For the balance...No problem . When it was time to pick up the skirt after the alterations were completed, I paid for the skirt but was refused a receipt. When I asked the clerk for my receipt ( that should not be working anywhere in customer service) said you didn't ask for a receipt....REALLY I have to ask for a receipt detailing what I paid . Then she said usually people don't ask for a receipt REALLY????
How do I know the total of what I paid?? Well I was told "since you used your credit card you can use that credit card receipt "the receipt that does not show the total of what I paid just my balance., and the receipt that I received when I paid my $20 deposit. So If I have a problem with my alterations I have no proof what I paid ($70) . Since I am a returning customer I won't be returning again and I will tell anyone that will listen. A receipt is a right, what is supposed to be automatic when you purchase something from a legitimate business ... WHAT DO YOU HAVE TO HIDE.... Beware
