I have to say that when I first looked into renting at Vantage, the reviews scared me quite a bit. After selling my home in California, I was relocating to the Las Vegas area, and was worried about finding a newer, clean and safe accommodation with standards similar to my home in California.
I have now lived here for about a month and while apartment living is never like owning your own home, I have been very pleased with my new unit and the service I have received from John and his team.
It is true that management has changed over the last year and this will always cause glitches as new management gets situated and fixes the ills of the past.
When I rented my unit, there were indeed several issues that I requested be addressed before I move in, and all were taken care of in a timely manner.
I believe John is doing a good job cleaning out the riff raff from this community and getting this property in shape at the standard that folks expect.
My experience has been quite good, I love my new unit, it is very clean, quiet, I feel safe and the neighbors I have met are really nice. The maintenance staff is very knowledgeable and they have fixed everything I have asked in a timely manner....especially critical items like locks and security related issues.
I think that very often people make demands and like to complain instead of working with management to get their needs met. Everyone in a community is responsible for their own living standards. It is a two way street.
So far I am a fan.
