Came in here yesterday to transfer my service from Phoenix to Las Vegas as I'm moving and they informed me that I wouldn't be able to transfer since Las Vegas doesn't technically have the same kind of CenturyLink as they do here in Phoenix. Strange, since I went online and saw that I would be able to transfer. Anyways, so the gentleman that was helping me told me since I was under contract, that I would have to pay a $200 fee to terminate my service. I told him I didn't want to do that, so he told me about another service called "Plan for Life" which would allow me to cancel at any time without a fee. He was able to switch my contract to a no contract so that I would be able to cancel and not pay a fee. He just told me that I would have to wait a week for my new service to take effect before I could cancel. Yay!! I am so glad he helped me with this problem and was able to get me out of paying a $200 fee. Just need to take in my rental Internet box to any CenturyLink store here in Phoenix before I move. I would recommend this location as the service is quick, effiecent, and the employees here are very helpful and friendly. They do their best to help you and if they can't, they point you in the right direction to get the help you need, which is usually customer service.
