Not sure why other reviews on here a so good...I bought a Travel Zoo coupon for a girls day here thinking that it would be great...ugh...i was really let down. First, no locker room, no robes, no slippers...they had a room, but we were never offered to go in.
Then off to the pedicure chair, had to roll up my jeans and take off my shoes. There was only 1 chair working, the one next to me was ripped apart and just sitting there.
The manager had to give my mom her nail services since they were short handed. Therefore, phones were ringing, AC service guy was coming in to say how much the repairs were and then to top it off, the hip hop music was too loud to really sit back and relax.
The girl doing my nails was nice enough, but kept jamming the cuticle pusher into my nails, ouch! So much so that my nail bed on my pinky was bleeding. When i did get the manicure, there was no hand soak, nothing. Just wipe your hand off with a towel and off we went.
After the nails, I went for my facial, girl did a great job, but main problem was that right before my service, she had smoked a cigarette. The entire facial i smelled cigarette fingers with cheap vanilla cover up perfume.
For my mom's service, she went in for her massage and had to lay on the say sheets that my aunt had just used, could see the mascara marks on the sheets...gross! i know were all family, but gross!
Not the way we pictured the day...had to go to happy hour after to recover. I wish we would had saved our money and went shopping or to a different spa.
