I am giving Dolce 1 star for their chemical peel services. I received the worst peel ever from there. I have been getting peels every 8 weeks or so for almost a year and normally go to another place, but my aesthitician was unavailable for a short period of time and I was forced to go somewhere else. First of all, I told the aesthitician at Dolce about ten times that I wanted her to be very aggressive with my peel or I will break out. It turns out she gave me the least aggressive peel. It was terrible. I did not even peel. In fact, I just broke out from it. Also, I noticed that she did not use a peel brush and instead used cotton squares. Most of the acid was probably absorbed in the cotton and did not even reach my skin! To top it all off, they force you to buy some of there "after-peel" products. This is fine because they informed me of this ahead of time, except they were out of those specific products on the day I had my peel done. If these products are so important, then why did they schedule a peel and not have them in stock. Instead, they gave me moisturizer with sunscreen. I already have that at home! I don't need to buy it at Dolce. I told the receptionist this and they argued that for legal reasons I had to buy the product. What a line of shit. I have never been anywhere else where they are legally required to sell you products after a peel. I figured it wasn't worth arguing and I would just write a scathing review instead. Don't go there for a peel!!!
