I was very nervous about going anywhere to get waxed especially after some of the awful experiences I've had in the past. However, I thought that I'd give it another try and I bought the Living Social deal for Silk. The owner, Nicole, was very nice, knowledgeable, and made me feel very comfortable. Her space is small, but it is very cute inside. Since she specializes in just waxing, I immediately felt more at ease with the whole process. The deal I got was for the brow and Brazilian, and let me tell you....I would 100% go back again. This girl knows what she is talking about, she's very fast and efficient, and she won't put you through more pain than you need. It was definitely not as painful as I was expecting (hello...some of those areas are sensitive!!!), and when she told me she was done I actually said "Already? That's it?"
I will absolutely be going back to Nicole and Silk Body Boutique again. Thank you, Nicole, for making my experience one I won't forget...in a good way!
UPDATE: I just want to add a quick update to my review. Since my original visit, I have gone back to Silk Body Boutique once more (so far) for the brazilian wax...let's just say that I am going to KEEP GOING BACK!! I love it. It definitely was less painful the second time and even faster than the first! If you are AT ALL interested in getting this done, then I highly recommend Nicole and Silk Body Boutique. :) I'll be back for sure!
