What an amazing experience! Our last experience with a carpet cleaner hired by my roommate was disappointing. After watching a review on local news with regard to carpet cleaners who do a shoddy job in the area, I went with Eco Friend after having a chat with Luiz, the owner. Not only is Luiz a personable and honest guy, he's a veteran and it has always been my intention to support locally owned, veteran businesses.
After scheduling with Eco Friend, the guys came out early after a call asking if I was available (which worked out even better for my schedule). They gave me an estimate of time to finish at 1 hour. As they were working, the techs walked me through their process, which is a 3 step process involving pre-treatment, cleaning, and after-care walk through. The tech even pointed out a potential trip hazard and provided advice on correcting it.
What stood out from their work was their discretion as to how much solution they used - the tech explained that the condition of the carpet was well-maintained and that he didn't need to apply as much water for cleaning - aiding in a faster drying period after treatment. In other words, they didn't go overboard and used what was appropriate to proper care.
