After reading the other comments and visiting the website, I was impressed and decided to give Asian Imports a try. My first impression was that it was a clean and professional shop. The price to diagnose my truck was reasonable and I thought "hey I may have found a good place to come" I was told when I made my appt that it would take about an hour. After waiting 20 minutes or so, I decided to walk across the street to Starbucks and spend the remainder of the hour sipping coffee. I stayed at Starbucks longer than the hour so that when I got back, my truck would be ready to go. Unfortunately, this was not the case. When I walked in the second time, I was not even acknowledged and I finally sat down to wait. A gentleman walked in and it surprised me that he was treated different from me. That was disappointing. I'm used to it but it doesn't sit well with me. To the support of the shop when I arrived I out of it so the person who assisted me must have thought that I didn't need any explanations I guess. Someone called while I was there and was lied to. That didn't set well either. So after a good 20-30 minutes of sitting, I asked when my truck would be ready and the guy came back with some smart remark and I thought, "this shop is out" I finally got the news, it was what I thought it was. NO eye opener there. The guy talked to me like he was scolding me that I hadn't done more work to the truck and then proceeded to penalize me with the price. I asked for a copy of what he showed me and to my surprise, gave me a printout of what I needed but took off all the prices. Ive not had this happen before (I'm 46) so I thought it was strange. Had I wanted to reconsider and go back, he had just given me reason not to. Someone walked out behind me and took up a brief conversation with me since he was there for the same thing. I told him what I experienced so I wonder if he decided to go ahead and have work done there. I may not keep my truck in top shape because I dont have the money, but that doesn't mean that I'm stupid and dont know whats going on. I HATE being treated like I'm an easy target or that I need to be talked to like I'm 10. Had I arrived refreshed and ready to negotiate and not tired and on 4 hours of sleep, then maybe things would have turned out different. The shop might be great, but I wont be going back nor will I refer them to anyone else.
