I didn't know that bagels are a big deal in Montreal until I was on my way to Montreal...so on my list of things to do while visiting was absolutely grabbing a bagel, in fact I ditched the last plenary session of the conference I was attending just for a bagel! I searched "bagels" on google and yelp in the area and this place was closest to where I was staying. Whether or not this was a TRUE Montreal bagel, I have no idea since I'm from the Chicago area. I grabbed a BLT Bagel here for lunch with swiss cheese along with a bottle of water and it was just perfect and what I needed to hold me over till later when I could grab dinner at the airport during my flight home. The sandwich was slightly toasted and even worth posting on Instagram!!! I'd recommend checking this bagel place out for sure!
