My Arepas was a great experience for my and my husband. We love food and love to try new things. Growing up in AZ we both are big fans of international foods. My Arepas is a place of fun, food, and you can feel like you are in Venezuela by the things on the wall.
We got there and it was 70% packed. They share with Rosatis and it's confusing but we got a table quickly. We spent time with the menu which is packed full of yummy eats! We picked some taquenos for an app, the arepas platter and the chicken dinner plate. We shared these things and they were good. The owner or our waiter was running around because We got there at the right time and it soon became packed with a wait. My only complaint about this place was the food came out in a different order than what we ordered it and the waiter seemed discombobulated with all the people lining up to eat there.
Our chicken dinner plate came out first which was so good. The sweet plantains were perfect, the chicken cooked to perfection, and the black beans were AHHmazing. My husband ate the rice and said it was good but not as good as the black beans.
