Love this metropark! It's one of the best in the county. It's quite large so it touches several communities and therefore, there are always lots of people there biking, walking, etc. I've enjoyed kayaking there although it can be busy on nice days. I most often walk on the paved trails, but I would like to get a bike. There's a golf course, a horse trail, a dog park, and a nature center as well. Despite being close to several suburbs and a hospital, you truly feel like you "get away" when you come to the valley for a walk. The only downside is that people use it as a cut through during rush hour so the main road gets a bit crowded. But, there are plenty of other areas to walk so you just have to familiarize yourself with the park.
