I was informed by Yelp that Bobby Q's & the Q-Lounge are different businesses. Therefore, I'm rewriting my review addressing my experience at the Q-Lounge.
On two occasions, I witnessed the staff and manager of the Q-Lounge turn away African Americans stating their attire was not to standard. One gentleman was in Kakis, the other in jeans. My colleague was told his Kakis were too baggy; while another gentlemen was turned away based on the belief his jeans were too tight. As a white man who travels, I've never seen such blatant racism. To turn away my friend in professional attire, but allow me in with shorts is ridiculous. The Q-Lounge will never get a dollar out of me! This place is a law suit waiting to happen.
