I gave Desert Designer a call after striking out with a few other landscape contractors (no call/no shows, no creativity, and not working within my budget). Rob set up a time to meet and take a look at my yard and listen to my ideas. I was looking for something clean, modern, and a refreshing escape from the same old generic AZ landscape. I gave him my wish list, discussed my style preferences, and my budget. He took it from there and came back a few days later with two options - one of I could stretch the budget and one bang on budget. We then worked together through phone calls and emails to make a few tweaks here and there until the design was settled and within budget.
Rob works up a line item estimate so you can see exactly where your money is going. This helps when you are making adjustments and choosing between your wants vs needs. Using this system, I worked with Rob to come up with a design that included my must haves and mix in a few extras while staying on budget.
Once the plan was nailed down, initial deposit was paid, they got to work and completed my project in just 4 days.
I've had several neighbors comment on the style, design, and positive change I made with my yard since it has been completed.
I'm tremendously pleased with the finished yard, the fact that I came in a few dollars under budget, got everything I was hoping for, and had great communication with Rob/Desert Designer throughout the process.
