Everything went well until it didn't. The front office was friendly. The nursing assistant was very friendly. The doctor was very friendly. But after the physician saw me, I waited in the room for an inordinate amount of time and when I walked out the doctor and three assistants were at the nursing station chatting about some woman who had an affair. Why was I even waiting in that room? They didn't apologize, just said "oh we just got this paperwork." I don't understand going to work to sit around and chat especially in an emergency care facility. And The physician needs to understand that lounging, chatting, and gossiping in a public space is not acceptable when patients are waiting.
