I've had 10 root canals and every tooth in my mouth is either a crown or an implant, done by many dentists, in several cities, so I have a large enough sample size to feel confident of my rating of a dentist and dental office.
I've been going to Las Vegas dentists since 1981, and began with Radiant Smiles in 2010. Dr. Ruiz is my dentist, but due to the sometimes emergency, I've seen three of the dentists there, with much success. By the nature of what it is, describing a visit to a dentist as enjoyable is a bit of a stretch. But in relative terms of visits to medical facilities, it fits.
The office staff is friendly and competent and wait times are short, so that aspect's enjoyable. I've felt very comfortable with the work of the dental assistants and hygienists, so that's been enjoyable. No matter who you are, I'm not going to enjoy you working in my mouth, so competency is paramount with respect to the dentist, and Dr. Ruiz is at the top in that measure. His chairside manner, the confidence you feel in his analysis and his infectious smile and upbeat personality is definitely enjoyable.
Bottom line, everything that doesn't deal with the discomfort of dental work is great. Being in a dental chair when work is required might not make you feel great, but knowing that you're in excellent hands, with a knowledgeable professional who can keep you from pain, puts you in the best place you can expect to be.
