Had a firearm transferred to this store, was notified it was ready to be picked up. I go there to pick it up and was denied because my GOVERNMENT STATE ISSUED ARIZONA ID wasn't a drivers license. Last time I checked and bought a firearm I didn't need a license. The excuse was BECAUSE PEOPLE COME OVER FROM CALIFORNIA AND COLORADO AND GET FAKE IDS AND TRY TO BUY GUNS. Hello!!!!! Run my freakin background check, my id is issued from a government facility! Will be transferring it yet again to another store due to this bogus rule of the store. Your government issued state id isn't good enough........ UPDATE- Today we went back to get the firearm, they asked to bring tax information and other paperwork to prove residency. I'm pretty sure when they run the nics it will prove citizenship and approve. But I guess this place only does that for certain races. First time ever have we had a problem purchasing a firearm as law abiding American born citizens. It saddens me that a place would treat a US CITIZEN this way. We will never do business here again and will spread word on how we were treated. Along with reporting to the bbb.
