One of my favorite hotels. An amazing value for 48k starwood points for 5 nights. Rooms are huge and great. Grounds are beautiful. $29/night resort fee covers a lot (internet, tennis, gym, bikes, all day tea & fruit, morning coffee, spa amenities). Very close to Camelback Mountain which is a great little hike. Tip: Don't pay them for the "2 hour guided hike of camelback mountain" if you hike regularly. They only take you 1/3rd the way up the hill on a dirt trail (~20 minutes up for anyone athletic). If you were to want a guide, it would be for the top half which is a lot of rock scramble and difficult for people with vertigo. I wrote a very detailed article about this trip with tons of pictures. Yelp doesn't seem to like links in the reviews, but if you book a reservation, it may be worth googling "Free Travel Genius Phoenician" for a very detailed write up that may help you plan your stay (such as what toiletries they provide).
