I'm not sure why this place has so many low reviews lately; we received some gift cards for PF Changs/Pei Wei over the holidays and decided to try out Pei Wei. I use to order take out from Pei Wei frequently when I lived in Orange County and I have to say it is still pretty darn good! In my opinion it is basically the same food that you get at PF Changs at a fraction of the price. We ordered the Mongolian Beef with Noodles, Honey Seared Chicken with Brown Rice and the new General Tsao's with White Rice. All the proteins and vegetables were cooked to perfection and everything was tasty. I will have to say the General Tsao's was a spicy (and I like spice), so if you are not a fan of spice definitely do not order that one. It took about 10 mins after my food was suppose to be ready for it to be ready when I arrived, but the staff was friendly and had it to me as fast as they could on a busy Monday night. Would definitely recommend this place!
