I've always known that this has been a "members' only" type of place where the regulars get astonishingly preferential treatment and everybody else is treated like aliens from another solar system dressed in Earthen 70s disco attire, but I never cared because the food was fresh, delicious, and of good quality. But the last two times I was here, it was just unacceptable. Our party would order our food and see people seated and served who came in 30 minutes after we ordered. I don't mind "unfriendly" service (I really don't require a smile and dance from my servers), but it has become almost insulting. Also, portions have lessened, I've noticed. The quality is still good, which is the reason for the two stars, but it seems that the management doesn't care to keep newish or infrequent customers. The chefs do care about the quality of food they serve to their customers, but they don't seem to care about their potential regular customers.
