Honestly I don't get the hype. At 8:15 pm on a Sunday, the place was completely empty so service was quick and the drink was made in 5 minutes. That's the only plus I can see, because otherwise the boba was awful and the drink was bland. I ordered a grapefruit green tea with 50% sweetness, less ice, and added on chia seeds and boba. Apparently, less sweetness means less syrup because it tasted really watery. The chia seeds were fine, but the boba was bad -- very little boba, and all the balls had this weird gooey-ness around the outside of them as if they had just been sitting around at the bottom of a pot full of boiled water all day...honestly really gross. All this disappointment cost me a little less than $6. I won't be back. There's a ton of other boba places nearby that taste a lot better.
