Carriage Trade is one of the best women's boutiques in Toronto. The staff is incredibly friendly and once you have shopped there a couple of times, they come to understand what you like and can quickly pull out a few choice items that suit your personality, style, budget and body type. I have shopped at Holt Renfrew and Eileen Fischer (both of which carry identical items) but the experience at Carriage Trade is above par. You never feel pressured as a consumer and none of the sales people have a standoffish attitude. Everyone at Carriage Trade seems genuinely happy to see you. There is a level of personal service that you just don't get in a chain or a high end department store. Although some of their items are expensive, you get what you pay for. I have had some items that I have purchased there for over 10 years and still wear them today. There is a good mix of quirky, trendy and classic items that let you build an amazing wardrobe. I have also managed to find incredible deals, including a dress that I wear constantly that cost around $100. Highly recommended!
