Here's why I like kiosks to order my food. I walked in, and the girl cheerfully greeted me. OK, good first impression. I said "Two biscuits with just egg and cheese." She looked at me and goes "OK you want bacon biscuits, right?" And I'm like "Wow, no, just egg and cheese. Two of them." And she goes, "OK, whoa, hold on" and composed herself and said "Let's try this again."
So I said r-e-a-l-l-y s-l-o-w-l-y "Two biscuits with just egg and cheese. No meat." And she seemed to get it, although I was expecting 8 coffees to come out. But they got it right. She may have just had a tough morning, so I don't want to slam her too hard, but I didn't think I ordered anything too crazy.
And then when I walked out, I saw a sign taped to the front door that said something about limiting the number of students that can be in there at one time due to recent violence. I did a figurative face palm that people can't even go to a McDonald's without being animals. You open a business to serve the community and horrible people try to ruin it. But I'll leave my review of today's society somewhere else.
