This place is the pits. Call it the "Y M I here?" Instead of YMCA. From my experience, the swim coaches for kids are great which is why we still go. It's something about the managers who seem to just hang out at front desk doing nothing. The place doesn't have the pulse and energy of the Lakewood Y. And it's a little dingy. All of this could be overlooked if the staff was at top of its game. Unfortunately, they are inept and unfriendly. The trainers are a whole other story. I know that there is one who is routinely getting into fights with members. Seriously! I feel bad for the entire organization that they can't quite get this particular Y up and running.
