Decent hotel room especially for the price. I paid just less than $100 per night (including taxes). The royal resort is an easy 5-10 minute walk to the Encore and Circus Circus. The Deuce was a 5 minute walk and there are a few abc stores and restaurants to eat at. I would personally recommend the Peppermill if you want something nearby. The room was clean and the service was friendly. No problems with noise at all. The bed was pretty comfortable although a little hard for my taste. Also there was a Murphy bed already in the room (hidden in a closet).
When we first got to the hotel, I noticed an odd smell...somewhat like mildew but after an hour I didn't notice it any more. The hotel has kinda of a late 80's - early 90's feel to the decor. All and all, I would stay here again if I needed too.
