So I guess life is truly what you make it after all and staying here was living proof of that. Ever since its birth I've wanted to stay at Hotel32 and it's one of those "well maybe next time" types of things and FINALLY I found a perfect time (the wife's birthday) to put all my chips in and let it ride boy am I glad I did!
The check in experience was seamless and it's actually where I first experienced our amazing customer service of the trip from Laura Rico-Aguilar. I had came the night before and asked about what it'd take to decorate up the room as a surprise for my wife and with no hesitation she said it would be handled which it was executed beautifully. We first checked in at the gold member check in and was given an elevator key to check in up at the front desk for Hotel32 which was a unique experience. Laura remembered our conversation from the night before and she said it would be a few minutes, but they'd rush to get it ready for my wife. Of course the wife was mad at me because I was acting weird, but I kept letting the magic happen. She had setup banners, balloons, and even had a card in there for her. My wife was blown away and we made sure to always thank her through the entire stay for her extra level of care for us as it meant the world to us.
The room itself of course is on the top level of the hotel so the amazing views are a given. We had a view of the strip side so that was good to people watch during my inability to sleep. The rooms are very spacious even for having the smallest 400 sq. foot room. I have pictures, but they were too big for Yelp, but create your own memory as you won't regret it.
They do have small drinks (water, coffee, soda) in the lounge at your leisure along with finger foods (brownies, rice krispie treats, fruit) that gets stocked randomly through the day from 8:00am to about 9:00pm. It did keep us refreshed with the quick trips to the room
I would like to see possibly a separate elevator in the future for Hotel32 as it did get a bit awkward always putting in the room key thus standing out each time and even being followed from people who ended up just wanting to look at the top floor, but late at night it does present fear of being "followed" and that was my only eyebrow raising moment
All in all, I've always had a soft spot for Monte Carlo and as it grows once again I'm happy to see the service is top notch from the front desk to the housekeeping. It keeps me coming back and from just feeling extra valued we may only stay at Hotel32 now for all future visits. Words from the wife and she's a tough cookie to please!
