This was my third time getting a deva cut and I get one every year. This time I got my cut with Melanie and she was very knowledgeable and experienced on curly hair. I have never gone this short before with my hair but I love it and she did a great job shaping it. She really knows what she is doing! Every time I come here I learn something new about how to take care of my curls.
The reason why I did not give this 5 stars was because the downside is that I did not get a refresher on the curly set up and was not even asked if I wanted them to go over it. I now realize I really did need one. Recently after my haircut I styled my curls with deva products and they just do not look how I would like. I liked how they looked when I walked out of the salon, but unfortunately I am not seeing the same results. I just do not know what I am doing wrong. I would like to come back for a refresher on the curly set up eventually but this place is like an hour away from me, plus it is $35 for a curly hair set up. It just would of been nice to have a refresher when I was already there especially since the haircut is already expensive in general /:.
