I was so excited that I finally got to go to Sweet Republic. My boyfriend hyped it up (as he is a very avid lover of ice cream) and he was right-this place is awesome! Maybe it's the fact that they have Jameson Irish cream ice cream that's swaying me?
I ordered a double trouble sundae with one scoop of the aforementioned flavor and another of Mayan chocolate. It was so good. The Jameson flavor was a sweet cream with just a hint of whiskey flavor and the Mayan chocolate had cinnamon and chilis in it which gave it a little spice. Top that off with hot fudge, walnuts and whip cream and it was one amazing sundae. I only wish I ordered it in a waffle bowl!
I almost wish I lived closer to this place but part of me is glad I don't! I would be here all the time. The service was quick and the girls at the counter were super patient and friendly.
