I've been banking at bofa for over 30 years. I have to say that in recent years I have continued to be more and more disappointed in their branch customer service. Recently they did away with drive-up tellers, which was one of my favorite things about the bank, for convenience. Yes I have used in branch tellers at kiosk, but the whole point was the convenience of not having to go into the branch. It seems every branch I go into, whether in Scottsdale or in North Phoenix, the lines are so long with only two people at the tellers windows and other bank personell doing random things. I've been in line waiting as much as 25 minutes while other staff don't get behind teller windows. I can understand this on a busy weekend but it seems to happen on a regular basis at various branches. For work I use Wells Fargo and I have to say it's a completely difference experience. Three customers were in line at the window today and people came from the back to help the customers. Not only that, while I was waiting for two minutes, someone came out front and offered the people in line a small bottle of cold water. BofA you need to take a customer service training course from Wells Fargo. It's not that staff arent friendly, but the management doesn't know how to take care of customers in a timely manner. No comparison.
