The Springs Preserve is a good way to disconnect from the hustle and bustle of the big city and connect with nature, all while staying right in Las Vegas.
The Springs Preserve has exhibits and activities for the whole family. There are plenty of interactive exhibits for kids to enjoy as well as exhibits that are geared towards adults.
Recently we visited and had an opportunity to see the butterfly habitat. This was an additional charge (not included in regular admission) but totally worth it. It was amazing being in the habitat with butterflies literally everywhere.
Attached to the park are three miles of trails that you can walk or rent bikes to explore.
