Don't let the kind of down market feel to the strip mall turn you away. This place is worth a look. I've been looking for a place to get good falafel since the Cyprus Grill at Town & Country closed. Since this place got good yelp reviews, off we went. Bottom line: I'm still looking for good falafel, but this place is pretty good on other fronts. I had the vegetarian plate. It was loaded with good stuff. The following were very good: grape leaves, hummus, and baba gannouj. These were good: lentil soup, spinach pie. On the disappointing side were the falafel and tabbouleh. Also, the pita bread was store bought and a bit blah. Overall, the food just wasn't as spiced as I've had at other middle-eastern restaurants. Maybe that's because I'd been to Syrian and Lebanese places and Iranian food is different. I don't know. Our server was very nice. I'll come back for the good stuff and continue my falafel search. I'm actually going to try to make it myself.
